Finally an octane booster that works

I know it has been asked on here before about what octane boosters/fuel additives actually work. Most of the time i would run Torco and i've heard of others use toulene. Through a PWC website i was pointed towards a company i've never heard of before to try their products. The name of the product is ACES IV Gasoline Formula. It raises 93 pump gas to 102 octane, while also being a lubricant and stabilizer. It contains no MMT(that what torco uses to raise the octane) which is known for gumming up on spark plugs and O2 sensors.

I tried some this past weekend for the first time and was pretty impressed. While i no longer have any performance cars, i do have a turbocharged honda PWC that i'm tinkering with. I have ran Torco in the past, 1-1.5 bottles per tank. That stuff is over $20 per bottle. I was running about 2-3psi less with torco, and the ECU would still pull back boost/timing because the knock sensor would detect detonation. I upped the boost this weekend and added the ACES IV and it ran GREAT. No more pulling timing/boost after extended WOT runs.

One 32oz bottle of ACES IV treats 192 gallons of fuel. That's 1 ounce for 6 gallons. One bottle costs about $74. It can also be bought in gallons for slightly cheaper. Talk about cheaper and more effective than Torco! Anyways, figured some of you may appreciate this information.

Here's some more info, if you're interested contact Brian at BND. He's very a very knowledgeable guy. They also blend oils custom for your application and they have a great diesel fuel additive with some impressive gains, i may try that next.

What humor? That's right, i'm just talking out of my ass. I posted this to inform others if they're looking for basically the only thing to get over 100 octane with pump gas. I'm in no way affiliated with this company so why would i promote it if it didn't work?

Im glad there is something out there again similar, if not better then Torco. I'll definately keep that site favorited, never know when a little extra might help out!

In my experience it whoops torco's ass. Here's a link from someone that used this in much more expensive toy than mine. I think they mixed it a pinch more concentrated than i did, but you still get the point:

confused is actually making some sense.confused is actually making some sense.
If I am not mistaken I have some additive I bought from BND years ago in the barn.I never saw the results they claimed(hence the unused portion still in the barn).

While I don't believe it is the same thing you have I am skeptical. However if it worked for you, good!

the article from the circle track engine builder makes it seem convincing enough. I will have to try some of this stuff.

Good find thanks

Same here. I can't help but see it as Snake Oil though. I do not need race gas at the moment, but improving the quality of pump gas is a good thing. Never know what you are getting.
