New section! Western, NC

I currently live just outside of Asheville and Roger was kind enough to set up this forum section for the Western, NC folks. Please post anything of car happenings going on around this part of the state! Since moving back here this past October I don't know where the typical car hang out spots are, so feel free to fill me in. I look forward to spring and the car shows and cruise-ins it brings along with it..

Usually when it gets warm the BRMC will have a few meets/shows, but it's very few. Some nice cars though

Its been tough out this way since they ran everyone off of Patton. There is a little car show meet deal at the Sonic on Patton on friday nights usually.

Checking in from Asheville here too. It is hard to find events around here, pretty much have to make your own. I have a small crew that usually gets together 3 to 4 times a month to do a meet and eat or go to the tracks. I tried the sonic on Patton on Friday but mostly run into a bunch of kids. Always looking for some new faces.

What's up guys we are gonna try to ride up to sonic on patton tomorrow night if anybody is out and about. Sould be a blue 03 cobra, my yellow 04, a white 03, a red fire 03, maybe a blue z06 if tater will go, and a blue ss if red sac will go. Weather is supposed to be good so should be a good turnout. If you guys ride up be sure to holler at me!

I run down at shady side a lot only about 5 miles from me let me know when you guys come down. With that being said I'm pretty sure they are doing test and tune Sunday.

Depending on the fathers day plans, I may be riding down there Sunday. I need to get the car down the damn track a few times if I decide to run the manual shootout at DR.

I might go to DR, i don't plan on running, i would also be in the manual shootout, but i don't have a drag radial/slick so it would be pointless.......

DR will be a good time. Hit us up if you go. Look for a yellow and a sonic blue cobra and a burgundy f250 pulling a blue ss that's running the manual shootout. That will be us.

What does the blue ss run in the 1/8th? Do you run nitrous with that car?

My car is just blower and meth on a bone stock motor. The ss has went 6.40s at shadyside. He was runner up at dr last year

I was deployed last year, i was wondering if i had seen it recently..... My car is a bone stock bottom end as well
