A little over 2 years ago, Caleb's 2004 Comp Orange Terminator was a twin turbo 5.8 mod mota making around 1,500rwhp and was the first mustang to run over 200mph at the local 1/2 mile events.
During one of his last outings to Indianapolis, he turned it up and on his 2nd pass we believe the stock forged steel crank had enough and moved around enough to break and spit 2 billet rods out the side of the block. The ensuing carnage lead to oil spewing out of the car at 180+mph and catching fire. Luckily Caleb had on onboard fire suppression system and was able to get the car stopped and the fire contained and out. Sadly the fenders, side skirts, and rear bumper took the worst of the oil fire. The engine was destroyed, but the heads were able to be saved. Caleb took a break from the car until 2019. Melvin built a replacement engine and Bobby Starks fixed the paint with new body parts. Logan and I reassembled the drivetrain and put it back into the car. I reattached all the newly painted body parts and started sorting out all the small details with the car. Caleb has a few things to complete and the car will once again be ready to go. (He's been building a new S550 twin turbo coyote car recently and has not had the time to dedicate to this car). Look for more updates very soon on this monster! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Lookin' pretty sweet. I had no idea that the car caught on fire. Sheesh, I bet that was one hell of a ride!

Car sounds rowdy and love the rolling anti-lag. I need that.
