It was too dark when it was dropped off tonight to get my own pic, but this was just delivered today...

5 projects might be a bit much to keep up with, but...
I won't be touching this one too much until the truck is finished, but this one should be fun.

I played with this one for a little bit..
Big bumper, big tail lights,

to big bumper small tailights,

to small bumper small taillights.. I used a 67 Camaro rear bumper. It's like it was made for it. Now I just need a rear valance.

Also scored a 1971 NOS grille, and 1971 NOS lower valance!!!!

I have been looking for a valance, grille and bumper since I got it, and the ONLY ones I have seen are the NOS ones, what are the odds!!

Once I find a bumper and turn signals, it will be much better than stock.

Yesterday I spent a little time on the rear of the car.
Moved the Camaro bumper up a bit. I had mounted it a bit lower than it should have been and it was bugging me.
I also fit the Mustang valance up a lot better. This will work.
Much better than the bookshelf that was hanging off the back before.

Picked up a T5 and 351 for the Pinto. Just waiting on the 351 to get here.

Pinto is looking like it means business now.Swapped in a Maverick 8" rear end today between rain showers, almost made it. Front disc brake kit supposed to be here Monday, then I can put on the matching fronts. Fully tucks a 275/60/15

Build was on hold since engine has been at the machine shop for 6 months, just being bored, not built! Back now, so I can start building that up.

One thing is for sure, it will have the prettiest set of pedals ever installed in a Pinto! lol

So, as clean as this thing is on the outside, it was horrible inside!!
Leaking cars, sitting outside since 99 will do that

Had a steering wheel in stock, and just bought a cheap speedway column.
The original rag joint was ripped in half, so good thing that is gone.
Also got the Wilwood pedals hung with both master cylinders.
I found a dash pad. Need to grab it before they disappear

I also had some issues with the floor.
Just cut it back and filled in with some stuff I had in stock.
It don't have to be pretty, its a Pinto, lol.
I did give it a heavy coat of Rustolium rusty metal primer, then paint.
I will throw down some sound deadening today. At least I won't be falling through the floor now.

Knocking it out! I'm questioning your stability going with a pinto.. lol, but I'm in love with a 4 door parts car, so who the hell am I to question people?

You've definitely got my attention, looking forward to see how this turns out, never thought the pintos would make a comeback after living through their heyday.

I've got the same line lock, it's working pretty well, set it up to be the "T" for the front brake lines too, simplified routing some.

*EDIT* Be sure to read the instructions on it, takes a NPT thread if I remember right, I'd gotten 90 adapters for the side ports. I'd figured it out late in the game and tried cheap parts store sh!t they kept behind the counter. The walls of the fittings were so thin you could damn near crack them with just hand threading a fitting in.

So the transmission I had for the Pinto was for a 94/95 Mustang.
It had the longer input shaft, but the bellhousing I had is cracked, and they are tough to find.
This weekend I installed a shorter pre-94 shaft, and hydraulic throwout bearing.

Just need to get a clutch now so I can figure proper spacing on the bearing.
