Vehicle 117, Nobody rides for free...
Picked up this sweet ride this weekend.
Ugly as anything but super solid. It even moves under it's own power!! Going straight up 70s.. Clean up these wheels, get some raised white letter tires, some side pipes, do up the interior 70s style, fill in the slider windows (or find a windowless slider) and make it one color. Need to find a 71-77 Grill, or maybe a 69-70 C10 truck grill and try to make it fit. Can't wait to play with this one too. (should finish Pinto first... ugh) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Well it is the right year, and already has the right wheels and visor.
Just need to change out the spoiler, add a brush guard, and some extra fog/driving lights ![]() ![]() |

Nice!
That overhead console looks to be from a square body Suburban. Hot Rod Garage built up a van like that, done 70's style, came out pretty cool.

Got a little progress done before the fire.
Got new tires, cleaned up wheels a little, and installed some side pipes. ![]() Next up is to get rid of the 84 grille and install the 71-77 Grille. Unfortunately I am down for a long time until my hand heals, and this is killing me to have it sitting here.. ![]() |

Don't mind the black eye, I have another chrome bezel coming today, but I did get the headlights fit up and mounted.
Last thing is the turn signals. Need to figure how to mount them, then I can bolt down the grille and bumper for good. (just 2 screws in the top right now.) Looking better though ![]() ![]() |

You could recapture some of that space under the bed frame with some drawers.

I am thinking the bed top will be hinged in the center. Fold the front up and you can sit facing out the rear doors when parked. Fold the rear up and you can sit facing out the front when driving. I think one drawer that opens out the rear in the center and additional storage on either side of that only accessible by lifting one half of bed. |

Ya man, can't even tell most of the time. Every once in a while depending on what I am doing, the burn areas turn a brighter red, but most of the time, looks normal!
Thanks for asking! |

No running video, they are pretty quiet, but have a decent tone.
It's only a stock 305, so does not sound wild, lol. They are Patriot side pipes, and only have a 2" inlet, so fine for a 305, but will choke anything decent. |
