I kinda like the building and working on process more than the racing or driving part...

I want to hit the track just wish it was closer or my car was an automatic, hard to drink coffee and shift gears

I get it. The build is the most fun part of these projects. My Mach1 has a fresh engine, makes 800rwhp, has a 6 speed manual, and is sitting on a set of 295 hoosier radials. It's just begging to go to the track as I've never raced that car. But for whatever reason, I just don't have the desire to take it. It really needs a 1/4 mile track to shine, so maybe soon I can sneak off to Fayetteville and get a pass or 2 in.
For the time being, I drive the car about once a month to work on Saturdays.

I hate working on my stuff. I'd rather be driving it.

being able to drive is growing on me. I look at projects online then think about how much it will cost to get it right and totally lose interest in a new project.

Essentially what has happened to me is the lack of funding and TIME - with time being a real big issue the past couple of years. I don't really have the time to invest in the car at this point- especially now that I've been riding the dirtbike just about every weekend again. I figure I need to enjoy that while I'm able. One day, my body won't allow me to do that, THEN I can concentrate on the car. BUT - if the car was running right now, I'd drive the hell out of it!
