Anyone else sick?

Been sick for a couple of days now and this morning I've almost completely lost my voice.

My chest hurts so bad from coughing

Anyone got any tips? I'm 5 hours away from my mom so I don't have her to take care of me. I've been drinking plently of orange juice and taking some old medicine from last year when i was sick.

only from the taco bell I had yesterday... but that's gone by now.. I don't get "sick" often, so I don't know what to tell you.

An old backwoods Virginia remedy is a shot of whiskey with honey stirred in it or some gool ol Horehound candy. That is some funky tasting candy though. You need to get to the doctor for some antibiotics most likely. Good luck.

ive been fightin what seems like a cold. living right on the lake the temp fluctuates BAD. but if ur lookin to feel better, head on down my way, ill make u feel better

another down home remedy... half a glass of coca cola mixed with half a glass or rock n' rye brown liquor... take it b4 bed, u prolly wont sleep very good and ull swett ur ass off that night, but ill be damned if u dont feel better in the mornin...

Long hot showers and drink green tea with honey. Zinc lozengers are very good to take also. Zinc really does help. Sleep is very important. Get all you can.

I feel your pain, Kristin...I had a BAD cold for over a week (damn kids and their germs!) and all but lost my voice. Drink plenty of OJ and eat broth-based soups, and do the whiskey and honey-it works wonders!
