You should PP the tripod out. Thats an awesome shot for sure. With the tripod gone you wouldn't be able to tell what year that pic was from very easily.

This was from Bristol at the NHRA race in '05. That was with my 300D, and what was supposed to be a 'crappy' 70-300 Sigma lens. Granted its not sharp.......but for a $250 lens I think its pretty good.

It's not showing up, but I know what you mean about the 300 + Quantaray 70-300. I've had a couple really nice shots from it.
