Thanks. It's really starting to take shape now. Turning out MUCH nicer than I anticipated. There's no way I'd ever be able to afford this or do it myself I owe most of the credit to my all my friends and new friends that have got it to here.

Here's the only update pic I've got ran by today for a minute o drop something off and snagged a pic of the limiters he made. They're adjustable by the threaded rod.

Do you think the frame rail is gonna take that kind of beating on with the limiters mounted like that?

I wouldn't think it would be an issue. The aftermarket kits like the team Z mount in the same way. Ron runs them this way on his 275 outlaw car with no issue.

Last few things at phillips have been finished. Final piece of rear floor is in and painted and the nitrous bottle bracket is mounted. Put it on the trailer this morning and brought it back home. Now it's time for the fun stuff. Fuel plumbing and wiring.

Rear floor complete

Nitrous bottle bracket installed.

On the trailer making its way home.

And the tight squeeze in the shop.

My garage is super small and I have way more inside it than should be and It can make it hard to work, now with the wing and front clip on there's no room to walk in front or behind unless you open the hatch. It's not bad with the door closed and the front end off but that requires two people (which I don't always have a helper and the clip sits outside). I have to roll the car out and put it back on before I head in for the night. The solution was to hang two 50lb hook brackets from the studs and hang the whole thing from the bumper bar. It worked out pretty good. Now When it has to stay on stands for a period of time I don't have to worry about how to store my clip or try to get it back in the garage. Also since it's a pain to have the engine stand setup up taking up space I went ahead and set the motor in tonight just for now so I can get the fuel system plumbed. Hopefully I'll have the front brake lines done tomorrow night.

Haven't been able to get in the shop with all the prepping for the baby and we had a trip to the hospital with a early arrival scare. But parts has steadily been flowing in. I've got my fuel regulators, gauges, and log together, picked up a used HVC II coil, ordered my plug wires, and ordered my converter from Camerons torque converter services in Columbia. If I get on it I could possibly have this thing moving under its own power in a couple weeks.

Got a visit from UPS, USPS, and FedEx all in the same day! Got all my weather pack connectors, Plug wires, wore holders, and my converter. I literally talked to Cameron at Torque converter services Monday after lunch and when he told me he'd get right on it he wasn't kidding. Showed up in less than 48 hrs and was great to deal with. Last night I got the rear tires mounted and the front brake lines plumbed but I've lost the banjo bolts for the front calipers, ford dropped the ball on having me two this morning so couldn't finish the fronts tonight.

I'll try my best lol. I'm trying to figure out if I want to use the used painless harness I have. It's alittle tangled up looking. If I can clean it up it might save some time.

Went to my father in laws machine shop to sandblast my headers before paint to knock off the surface rust. Front brakes are fully plumbed, and the rears are about half finished. Got the last of my fuel lines and fittings along with my trottle/shifter cables and some other odds and ends. Hoping to get back out there and finish this up so I can set the trans in and measure for my driveshaft.

Got alittle more done yesterday and today. I Put a few coats of VHT exhaust paint on my headers after sandblasting them, I don't plan on keeping these on here to long otherwise id go with a fancier coating. I've realized I should have budgeted for a motor plate because I don't have many options for mounting things in front now. So I made a bracket for the coil and the regulators to go on the heads, I used spacers to keep some distance between them and the head. I still have to clean up and paint the fuel regulator bracket. Started to mess with the radiator hoses but couldn't feel my hands, the kerosene heater in the shop wasn't wanting to light off. Our baby boy is due March 3rd but it could be any day so the updates might be on hold for awhile. Got to start getting after it every night to get as much done as I can.

Looking good man. I'm shocked this thread isn't getting more attention. I guess it's because it's not a damn LS swap in progress.

You and me both. I haven't fired this engine for almost two years.

I haven't made it out to the shop lately, but I did order a Wilson Proflow progressive nitrous controller and possibly came across a deal on a driveshaft. That should be the last part of the puzzle. Just need time.

Know I don't count but I have been in the background watching progress. You'll be surprised with the VHT. Hosed down my entire exhaust with it and it's holding up a lot better than I ever thought it would. You prepped it right, hopefully it'll hold up for ya.

I hope it holds as much paint I've sorayed on them lol. They're still hanging on a screw jack in the back at work. These things have about 4 coats on them now. I'll keep going till I run out of paint.

Did the same. My exhaust wasn't too rusty, just acid washed it to rough it up, two coats of primer, two coats of paint, just used up 1 can of each and hoped for the best. Been happy so far.

My little man is here now so no progress updates. I did manage to drop off my valve covers to get some -10 fittings for my catch can setup I'm doing and got a screw on oil cap welded on one cover. Also picked up a Strange 1350 pinion flange online.
