My god man, how in the hell are you doing this? You could literally work a trade all the way up to an F40 or something if you wanted..

Bought 55 Chevy 3100 roller Built it Traded it for the 1930 Model A did a little work to that, but not a ton. Traded that for the 69 C10 didn't do much to that. Traded that for the 56 210 Did a ton to that one. Traded that for this. This one is my favorite driving car out of all of them by far! And that 428 (433.. .030 over, lol) has a ton of torque! |

Ok, so in the 3-4 weeks since getting the car I have been busy.
I replaced the fuel tank with a Tanks INC EFI tank with in tank pump, FITech fuel injection, fuel lines. Did a front disc brake conversion with new brake lines, master cylinder, proportioning valve. New fan. New, transmission filter, pan gasket, lines, and dip stick, and mount. Power steering box o-ring, new gauges, and some correct 428 fender callouts. Last but not least, new front tires. These were dry rotted and split bad. She is a great driver now |

Just watch the vent line on that tank. I can't get over 3/4 full without having fuel come out of the vent. Need to get off my ass and install a burp tank or larger vent lines to allow fumes past the fuel to keep them from carrying fuel all the way out.

There are 3 vents in mine. One at the fuel pump, one in the tank right beside it. They give you a Y fitting to tie these two together, then they give you a roll over valve that you have to mount as high as you can above the tank. Mine is mounted as high as I could get by the upper shock mounts. The 3rd vent is in the filler neck, that one ties into the stock rubber line that was in the same spot on the original tank. I have had about 7/8 full so far. |

I was having some issues with the FITech on this thing. Was used. Did a data log and turns out I couldn't give more than 20% throttle without going dead lean.
Turned out to be a bad regulator, installed an Aeromotive regulator and man, this thing runs great!!! ![]() |
