67 GTO CLONE project "cruiser"
So I got this car as a gift from my fiancé, my plan is just to keep it original and have it as a cruiser. It has a 455 pontiac with a turbo 400. It was originally a 6 cylinder LeMans and was cloned to be a GTO. It's a very nice platform . Has a little rust and could use some new floor pans on passenger side at some point but over all in very good shape. It'll be very slow to fix things here and there as I am trying to get my firebird back up and running again. However it's very fun to drive and I'm very happy with it.

Got a spare tire cover and fixed the trunk mat from rolling up like it did when I got it.

Poncho power FTW! I'm a Ford guy but I love GTOs.

So I'm in the process of putting together a homemade cold air intake on it. I just need to get the bracket edges cleaned and rounded off, get a screen for the front of the tube, and find a single snorkel air cleaner. I have the tube mounted in the bumper with the ducting coming up and eventually connecting to the snorkel.

Also got a '60s style a/ fx decal for windows, which I though fit the car well. I've always liked the factory experimental drag racing phase.

Changed the air intake to come in thru the hi beam. The small little area in bumper just wasn't flowing enough air as I'd like it to.

I think I have a box of 67 gto stuff in my attic from my mother an fathers 67 gto.. I sold it like a dumb ass about 12 years ago... Made some guy in North Dakota a happy soul..... I'll try to get the shit down and shoot you some pictures of what I have.. I think there was a factory set of OEM mesh grills up there with the fog lights.... a console to i think......
