Quick update -
Engine is just about completed.
Got it real close now. The stock balancer was installed, but I decided that I don't trust it, and having Melvin order/install a new aftermarket onto it. He is also going to have my lower intake painted black to match my timing cover.
Can't wait to start putting this back into the Mach 1.

Few things done to the Mach 1 over the weekend.
Mounted the Lokar shifter.
Installed the Quick6 controller and started running the wiring harness.
Removed the IRS rear and installed the solid 8.8 rear.

I had a Kennebell 2.6 supercharger on the swapped engine.
The original Mach 1 engine in the car when I bought it had a head tick. So I put in a 50k mile 2004 terminator cobra complete engine, transmission and rearend swap with a 2.6 Kennebell blower.
After 4 years and only about 2k miles of driving, it started knocking.
When I pulled it down, it had knocked some bearings out of it and it appeared that the previous owner must have run it low in oil.


This new engine is basically a terminator style engine but with billet rods, 10-1 compression, custom cams, ported heads, and my VMP 2.3 supercharger that I used to run on the Cobra (my red 2003).
This engine can stand a helluva lot more boost or eventually a turbo but for now it makes decent power for what it is.

I installed a T-56 Magnum into the Mach 1.
I also talk about why I removed the 6R80.
