Quite a few updates this week!

First, let me say how important it is to do routine maintenance INCLUDING changing your damn fuel filter!!
Now I know these are a bitch to get to around the IRS, but I had my tank dropped to do a return fuel system, so it was easy.

Just for the record, what comes out of the filter should not resemble motor oil!! LOL!!

Old tank removed.


Blow off dirt and debris to get ready to swap the hat.


Hat assembly with Lethal Budget Return Fuel system and GSS342 pumps.


Assembling the regulator.


Hat installed into tank.


Got a quick tune loaded thanks to Caleb @ Fastlane for emailing it to me!
Car fired right up and I set the fuel pressure to 42# without vacuum line connected.
It's been raining here, so no test drives yet.

I gotta get the front end alignment done, windows tinted, and then throw it on the dyno to get the tune finalized.

I am excited to drive it!

Car runs great. Pulls strong for 12# of boost.

Getting windows tinted Tuesday by my buddy David @ Tinted Atmospheres.
I am going with 20% on sides/back and 50% on windshield.
Should contrast nicely against the car and make it pop.

Update -

Of course it didn't rain today, but the roads were still wet from all the rain earlier this week when I drove the Cobra to get it tinted today!

Got my buddy David @ Tinted Atmospheres in Cary, NC to tint the Cobra today.
David has tinted all my vehicles to date and does an excellent job.

I went with 18% on the sides and back.
I have 55% on the windshield.

I love the look and how it offsets the color/wheels.
