Hey man, we painted it with the bedliner paint. Holding OK thus far, but will also have padding on parts of it(to protect my brain box, yo)

Not sure Adam, keep tossing around different ideas. Thats why we haven't started on the engine yet. 550 on pump gas should keep me happy a little while...........

Tonight we got the seats fitted in the car. We modified a set of factory sliders to bolt to the racing seats. It worked out great. The floor of an F body is so inconsistent, a universal bracket is practically useless. By using modified factory brackets, we were able to retain factory height and positioning. We also had to use a little 'persuasion' to alter the leg bolsters to get them to clear the door bars

Also got the interior pieces painted with a nice interior paint that is pretty close to factory. We cleaned the pieces, lacquor thinner, then paint
Here are a couple comparison pictures. The new color is slightly lighter than it was, but with all the dirt we think its pretty close to what it was stock

This paint also leaves a nice stock like texture, here is a close up of that

Been getting a lot done lately. I can't wait to start actually putting pieces back on it!

Thanks man! They are Dynamic Auto Design seats. Can find them(or could) on Ebay for around $300 shipped!

Yeah man those are the ones I was talking about at Chargrill.

As far as the paint goes I forgot the brand, but you can get it at Advance and runs about $7 a can. The NORMAL color selection is kinda limited, unless you want red, blue, or neon green :-)
