Got a few more pieces together! Found an old truck block from the 60's. It's one of the thicker 'high nickel' blocks! Took it to the machine shop today to be vatted and pressure-tested.

Anyone need any OLD parts?

Got the AFR's ready to go back on with new valves, a little something special with the seats and bowls, some TLC on the chambers, and new springs (180 on the seat, around 400# over the nose)

Now to add some BEEF to the Main caps! A complete set of Billet splayed caps from Pro-Gram Engineering.

And finally, something to hold 'em down with!

Yeah, this block was upside down in the guys back yard with the intake off. Once we got it apart, we found that the #6 rod bearing had spun and took about .100 off the crank journal
We only gave him 50.00 for it since the plugs were broken.

It's Crimmas time for Project 'Nueve'!!!
Got some Clevite coated rod and main bearings, a Milodon 'Diamond Scraper' Windage Tray, a Cloyes Hex-A-Just Double roller timing set, A Cloyes 2-piece timing cover so we can make cam timing adjustments without pulling the front cover, some ARP Head Studs, and an ARP 12 point engine bolt kit.

The Coated rod bearings

The K member isn't on yet. Project is gaining steam but finding time to work on it is hard! Pics will be up as soon as that bad boy is installed!

Finished up a few more things today on Nueve. Got the custom Gauge panel completed, removed door panels, and prepped door jambs for paint.

Started with a 24 X 12 piece of aluminum stock

Took some measurements, and formed a layout

Tested the layout before cutting

AHHhhh...Boost Gauge Eh?

Which form of it is now the question...I'm gonna guess turbo...only b/c the tubular k-member would net more clearance for piping.
