Which Track
So what tracks are everyone frequenting now? Since everything kind of died down I haven't been to any anything but the two local 1/8mi. tracks to me Harrells and Rico. I hear Gallott puts on a pretty good show now. Never hear much about the tracks everyone used to post in here like Piedmont, Shadyside, and Fayetteville.

Fayetteville is always there, but honestly we found recently the Rock is making a resurgence it looks like. New owners, TnT's on the week nights and weekends at night during the hot months so its a little cooler. SCT is having their event there too in October so it should be cool. Galots really nice also for sure.

I saw the SCT post this week for the Rock. Would be nice to see Rockingham back to it's former glory.

I've been running in the footbrake class at Roxboro.
The new owner has been working to get the track turned around. So far it's been doing great. The first race of the year was so packed that some had to pit down past the E.T. shack.

Piedmont and Farmington have also been doing fairly well.

Coastal Plains has been having a good turnout I think. Nothing like the other tracks but about par for course.

I hope someone does buy it, renovate it and make that track worth going to. Repave and lengthen the shut down area.

You've got to be on face book to find a race. I live by the track and don't know when they're running, except by ear.
I follow turbo john, john doc and SRC "the kid" on you tube to find out what's going on....

Piedmont is doing pretty well, I'm 30ish minutes from them. Really want to hit a 1/4 mile but they're all 3hrs away.

Went to their street scene / street style prep night, $5 fee to spectate/run. Had all 4 staging lanes back to the cafe but was running them through, about 20 min wait time between runs.

Have big dog shootout Oct 1 (tomorrow night) with test n tune, usually long wait to run but track is sticky as hell.
