One thing I learned from riding bikes. When going into a turn too hot, just lean hard and hope for the best... Hit the brakes and forget about making the turn. I got a feeling that car would have probably held the turn (even after the late braking) had he just turned the steering wheel and then gave it a little throttle to come on out of it
 Sucks to see a nice car end up like that though.
