Winchester 94 Lone Star Commemorative Rifle

SOLD. Thanks to everyone that was interested.

1970 Winchester Model 94 30-30 Lever Lone Star Commemorative Rifle.

Never been fired as far as I know. The guy at the local pawn/gun shop agreed. Comes with the styrofoam box as shown, box is in rough shape on the outside, but it's all there.

Rifle is 99% I'd say, there are 3 imperfections that I know of:
- One is a indent on the wooden stock/grip, looks like it's just a natural mark though. It's about an eighth of an inch long.
- Two is almost like small parallel cracks in the plating on the bottom of the trigger guard in about a quarter inch square area. Hard to describe, no plating is missing, but you can see it and feel it.
- Three is a mark on the left side of the hammer. It's a mark where you can see the hammer was drawn back at some point, like it scrubbed on the frame.

I have plenty of pictures with my crappy cell phone camera, I'd be happy to email them if interested. Imperfections 2 and 3 can't even be made out in the pictures.

Here's a link of the exact same rifle (not mine) with pretty good pictures:

Prices I've seen online range from $700 to $1100. In person I've seen a couple with $1500 tags on them.

I'd like to see $600. Not looking to make money, just tired of it taking up room, I have no use for it. Not looking for trades. Offers always welcome, but you know how those usually go. I'm in Rocky Mount and willing to meet a reasonable halfway, or ship through FFL's on your dime.

I check in about once a day to lurk and whatnot, I'll try to reply to PMs in a timely matter. Thanks.

I love my '94. Great rifle, the only downside is that mine happens to be a .32 Winchester special, which is a pain to find rounds for and expensive when I do. And I keep losing bids for the reloading dies on EBAY. Pretty

I would love to have a plain jane '94 to shoot, but when I looked into how much it would cost to feed the thing at todays prices, I put that out of my mind pretty quick.

The only place I have been able to find the rounds is at gun shows, at $25 a box. You can get them in cheaper calibers. I took mine to a gun show a while back right after I got it (Grandmother found it and gave it to me), I was trying to get some info on it and some accessories, got nothing but offers.
