Thanks! It's getting close. I'm beginning to feel like a child at Christmas. The car will be on display at Rockingham this weekend. Below is a link with some updated pictures.

Yes Sir, that is Mikes wild ride. He come out this Saturday with his family to DR. We pushed hard all week to be able to crank it up Saturday but a problem with the flywheel and starter combo ended up putting that out of commission.

Sounds like there might still be a issue between the starter and the flex plate.

Sounds nasty though

No guilt associated with this... Hell, I have a GM transmission in my Mopar, and Chad has ford motor in his Dodge dart. Use what you've got and make it work!

You sir are right, we had 3 different starters but we knew that the flex plate was what needed to be swapped out but that was our only one at the time. Had a few more starts after that but eventually the flex plate demolished itself.

We are waiting on getting the correct flywheel in and Eric is trying to figure out something to do with the plug wires as well, they way the run now kind of overload the engine bay.

He had the Vette but no motor and the Motor combo but no body.... so i see it as a pretty damn good job of using what you got to make it work. Plus Mike's the kind of guy that doesn't care what words are said about it because it still means you'll be talking about and telling everyone you know about it haha.
