Rhino Lining for Garage floor
Does anyone have it? Reviews? Cost?
Buying a new home soon and want this or something else done similar done before moving in. I know I don't want to do it myself and do not want anything that tire peel is an issue. |

They sell Expoy-Coat @ Lowes now and if you are in the military or retired you get a 10% discount! The price is $196.00 and it is supposed to be better than anything out there. I plan on doing it next year.

I would use this: http://www.armorgarage.com/fcoarwich.html
Its a little pricey up front but if prep'd right and done right it is awesome and looks very professional. Quite a few of my friends have it and it holds up to the abuse great.

No its when you park a warm tire on it, let it sit then move the car all the coating comes up stuck to the tire.

Not a huge fan of a gloss finish if you actual "do work" in your garage. Gloss show scuffs and scratches easy. Good luck. |

I work at Rhino Linings of the Triangle and our partner in building is Carolina Coatings
Here is there site http://www.carolinacoatingstech.com All the pictures on there sites photo gallery of truck beds are our trucks we've done Anyways, I believe a 2 car garage is around $2,000. It's not exactly the bedliner Rhino, they do polyurethanes, epoxies and Polyaspartic coatings.

we have eboxy floors at work and they show scratchs BAD but its a gloss finish. it looks very good after polished though. i just feel like a rhino lined floor would be hard to keep clean

After some research $4 a square foot is standard both with epoxy finish or a stain finish. Cheapest I found was $1250 for 500sq. feet. However the conversation on the phone with that Gentleman was like talking to my seven year old.
So I guess the Do-It-Yourself is gonna be the way to go. For the price of about $600 for 500 sq feet. |
