New king at the 'ring - 06:45:90

It's not American, German, English or Italian. Hell, it doesn't even have cylinders. And it's Chinese.

Those numbers are downright impressive but I just can't get excited about a car I can't hear.

Just another nail in the coffin of the impending death of the internal combustion engine. The very thing that sparked my interest in cars and eventually engineering as a career. I know it is short sided, but once the internal combustion engine is gone, and I know it will eventually happen, my interest in cars will be gone.

They won't be gone in my lifetime. I'll hold out with my car(s) until I can no longer find a gas station. By the time that happens I'll be so old I'll need one of those autonomous cars to drive me around.
