Not yet, but I'm planning on it. Getting some serious flow out of the victors is just a carbide bit away......people have been doing great things with them.

This project may be on hold for a little while longer.....I think I might be moving soon. Kinda drags things out even longer, but the upside is that I'll have more land, a bigger shop, and a better paying job.

I think I can deal with a couple more months of no progress for this.

Well, I now have a residence in Callands VA as some of you already know. The job is going great, the house in Fuquay sold in 15 days for full asking price - and my car is still in NC. The 3 car garage is ready for it though.

I still have a couple things to do before I get the car up here, but I'll make sure I post up some "home at last" pics when it does get here. Good thing is that the 500 inch heart has been up here ever since I moved in. It's a constant reminder of "Hey idiot, you still gotta get the stupid car up here".

As far as the job goes, I could not have asked for anything better. It's an Engineering Tech job at VIPER ( www.viperservice.com )- Virginia Institute for Performance Engineering and research. We have an 8 post test rig here in house for suspension testing and R+D. Our customers range anywhere from NASCAR, INDY, BaJa, etc. We're located right behind VIR, so walking over to the track is a non issue. (one of the perks I guess you could say )

Yesterday was a rather busy day to say the least. The Challenger finally made it to it's new home. Oh, I forgot to mention that the tow truck now has a legal set of tags for the first time since I have had it! That in itself is a HUGE accomplishment.....

Damn, your car would look so hot all in that blue color on the fenders!!!

Was it easier to get the tags situated in VA?

I'm making some measurements for a custom 4 link tonight. Stay tuned. ladder bars are going up for sale. This car needs to see some VIR track time at some point. Don't worry though - it'll be hitting the drag strip too. She's going to be dual purpose.

That blue is ugly as crap - and I hope you are kidding. If you're not, the next time I see you - I'm going to have you involuntarily committed.

Yes, the tags were easy to get this time. All I had to do was tell them that I had a wrecker that I wanted to tag - not for hire of course. I paid the extra so I could gross out at 15,000 lbs and here we are.

The director of VIPER is a former co-worker from Lord. I ate lunch with him one day and got the job offer shortly thereafter.

Sorry man - had to get out and see if I could expand the brain, resume, the pockets, and the amount of land. To me, it was a win-win.

Made some progress on the engine side of things today. I'm making an intake manifold for it due to hood clearance issues, among a whole other string of issues. I'll be running an intake that looks similar to what is on Gen 2 Vipers with a pair of throttle bodies. I'll post up a drawing after I finish designing it.

Started machining on the lower manifold plates that hold the intake to the head.

Some of these pics I took because I thought they'd look cool. Guess not.
