Cool Whirligig Park

We went out to Wilson today to check out the Whirligig Park, very neat stuff. We went with the NC Region of the AACA as a Tour to the park. There were about 20 cars that showed up.
Here are my pics off my phone, mostly of the whirligigs:

no problem!

I had no idea there was such a place either. Wilson is revitalizing the area and in the next year or so a lot of the work should be finished and it should be really nice.

theheder has no rep around here.
The original place back in the day when I grew up in Wilson to see these was called "Acid Park". Lost a few brain cells over there.

I remember those things as a kid being out in Lucama at that builders house. It use to scare the crap out of me riding past those things with my parents at night time.
