72chevy pm me a price please sir
I honestly don't know Jason. I just commented on what my solenoids would flow, not that I want anything given to me or anyone else.

I do know, that once you hit that barrier around 5.80-5.90 in the 1/8th that it takes a lot more hp to continue to pick up e.t. and MPH than it does at slower speeds. Faster e.t. you go the more power it takes to continue to do so due to diminishing returns no matter the combination.

That's what I was talking about yesterday about the .110 and the .125 solenoid. I really needs to be something in between those 2 but there really isn't anything. You could always start out with a .110 and see how it does and if it isn't enough take 50lbs off. That would be better than starting with a .125 and adding weight if it was too much.

A .110 solenoid realistically could be about 50-75hp gain over a trashcan solenoid with a .082 jet. I'm leaning towards 50hp because a .110 jet behind a big solenoid will flow more than .110 jet behind a .110 solenoid by a bunch. I would say a .110 solenoid rule wouldn't be quite enough to get Jenny or Qball in the mid 20s.

If you use a 110 I bet they dont even use a jet. What will that come out to power wise. Are we talking single cross bar or double 6an line or 4 ?

With deminished returns, maybe 15 more hp
What I wanna know is where are the turbo cars gonna find this magical tenth to get them in the teens? Go 1.0 60' like a promod?

Turbo cars don't need anything...I don't think nitrous cars need much to be competitive...We plan on doing some testing with a little bit bigger jet to see what it goes..but first, we gotta figure out how to go down the track with the .82....

We had solenoid restrictions in SR and those guys would put a bigger jet than the solenoid just to seal the fitting (would leak without one). On cross bar plates or a fogger they would need some jet to create some back pressure or else the closest jet inlets would get more nitrous than the others. Rating a solenoid is voodoo because some companies like to exaggerate how good their solenoid is over somebody else's solenoid made in the same factory. Common thought is .110 is 300-350 max flow. The problem is nobody makes a bottom exit .110 that I know of. The turns inside the solenoid kills flow a lot more than a straight funneled jet of the same orifice size.

It doesn't matter to me, I'm likely running Ultra with mine.

Says a guy with a non intercooled blow through that has been a .29.
How much you wanna make a bet a turbo car doesn't beat your time by a tenth in 2013? I'm being dead serious. You name the amount and lets lock it in. I mean that's easy money for you since you are always proving me wrong.

No he should do it and do it big! He is certain he is right again. He has to be because he wouldn't lie to get an advantage so he must truly believe he's right again like he has been so many times before.

Thats what cracks me up about you chuck. Because i built my own shit and don't have to pay someone to turn every screw like you then my shit must not be max effort. If you knew shit you would realize these back woods blow thru junk cars run with the best you have to offer. Which combo is begging for a break again? That would be your combo! $47000 worth of professionally built can't get out of the way quick enough! Since blow thru carbs don't work and arent "max effort" how about a break for them? They will never go in the teens or run with professionally built nitrous cars right? 100lbs sound about right? These things suck and they won't 60' either

You are hilarious Dent. I even build my own transmissions. I have built more motors than you have owned. I had Chris build this motor to give a friend some ink genius. Truth be told I did a good bit of it. I get someone else to tig weld for me and that's it. By the way I'm over 50k now and that's all parts with less than $2500 of it labor.

Now stop avoiding the question. You want that bet?
