Nice work on the ol' truck

It was running great on the way home, much better throttle response, smooth idle, it doesn't drive like grandpa's pickup now .
Well worth it IMO, no 'mods' I could bolt on would do that.

Just messing by the way, what all did you get done (tuning)?? Or did lil J just pray over it like he used to do the ol' LT1's to make em gain a second or two in the 1/4 mile??

There were no awe inspiring numbers put down unfortunately, but it's only 3.5 liters and 5 cylinders turning some god-awful-heavy 32x11.5 BFG's.

I just got a basic tune from Jeff to remedy the mushy stock 4l60 tuning and some problems I had been having with it throwing CEL codes and idling rough due to an 'off-road' K&N kit. The stock tune sucks on these little pickups, it bogs badly and has poor throttle response, and the shifting was pure mush.
He improved the shifting, fixed my speedo calibration and speed limiter, toned down the 'torque management' crap, and did some magic with the air/fuel stuff to optimize it with the cold air kit.
It made a night and day difference, and it peeled out the 32's for the first time .
