Post Proform carb parts?

Anyone have any experience with them good or bad?

I have been looking into replacement billet base plates for the 750 vacuum secondary carb on the wife's truck. The Proform units look pretty nice, the price is good and I can get it from Advance Auto with some nice online discount codes. I have also been looking at the main body replacement. This would eliminate the choke and be like a Holley HP style.

I have read where Quick Fuel uses the same parts just in different colors... Not sure if this is still true but the parts look identical in most of the pictures I have seen.

Most of what I have read has been decent. The biggest negative so far for me is the purple color of the base plate. Sliver, red or black would be better for the overall color scheme under the hood but if it works I'll deal with the purple...
