I can only see the number on the deck behind the driver side head which is c7r153008 and the one on the back of the block which is 12576177 on the passenger side. It has 799 heads on it which I heard are pretty good. Not sure if this means anything but on the driver side bottom near the oil pan it has L33 stamped on it. So I am not sure.

Still in wiring mode.
Spent a decent amount of time in the garage but had other people's shit to fix, so not a lot of time on the truck. Got the engine set in place and locked down. Headers are installed and wiring harness is groomed to the ecm. I've got to connect power and grounds and shorten some of the wires up. Still have a lot of little crap to take care of but the list is getting shorter. Got driveshaft ready to go. Cleaned, shortened, new joints, painted, and balanced, $115 out the door. If things work out I'll be fumigating teh garage this weekend. ![]() ![]()

Tore apart my harness last night and am completely re-routing it / straightening the wires. Didn't like the way it was turning out so I'm going to run it back against the firewall and try to hide most of the routing.
On another note, I can finally use park! ![]()

I can send some pics of my S10 engine to show how Current Performance runs their harness if you would like.

That'd be great if you could! Been searching the web to see how others have it done.
Thanks!

You the man, thank you!
Been researching a/c fittings, trying to get everything ordered before the missus kills my funds.

Ran out of heatshrink last night, picking some up this am. Have about 15 more wires to shorten and the harness will be done. Swap fuel pumps out, connect hoses, and wrestle battery in.
Here's the red ecm connector done, blue wasn't touched in this pic ![]() Checked my old tires against the new meats. Me likey. ![]() Getting really excited! Just ordered hubcentric spacers. ![]() ![]()

Tomorrow is the day! Wiring harness is complete, put power to the system and made sure I could see everything.
Napa gave me 3 upper injector o rings and 1 lower, making parts run in the am. Have to swap pumps, fuel filter, and hook up fuel lines to rail. ![]() ![]()

Thats a lot of tape/numbering! I just did one wire at a time when i shortened/lengthened the harness on the s-10 build im doing, probably took longer though.

Thanks and lol. I get distracted so much @home it's not even funny. I labeled everything so there was minimal chance of me screwing up.
About that, fired up first try today. ![]() Had to catch up on a lot of house work after I got to rev it up, will be cleaning the garage so I can see the floor tomorrow night and start buttoning things up. Calling to get appt @exhaust shop. Can't swing the mandrel bent route so it's going to the crusher.

Not much of a video, about killed myself trying to get to the engine bay. Flip flops and a death trap of tools/wires/sharp pointed objects on the floor don't mix.
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8kv...it?usp=sharing You have to download it, then enjoy, about 100mb. I'll have better vids once I get the tune right, you can just about hear the LS6 cam coming through, going to have a little rupp rupp idle when it's right.

Nice work. We're at a stand still on the bagged s-10 project. Been tooling around with his vette trying to get the bugs worked out on it.

Thanks all! I called my exhaust guy.. Last time we spoke he told me to give him a call a week ahead so he could order everything. Called this morning and he said have it there Wednesday morning!! Mother Flipper!! Just spent all my free time in the garage trying to get all loose ends tied up. Dammit there's a lot to that truck.

That video was only 6 cylinders! Figured out I had #3 & 5 coil wires swapped @the ecm.
Uploaded a new tune into it this evening and it's sounding really good, took bits of z06 and l33 tuning . Just about ready for the exhaust shop, thinking Monday morning. Got a little wrenching done too ![]() I know, the stance, it's coming, just have to work on the more important things first. ![]() And the new tune.. Figured a couple things out including torque management and how to shut off axle abuse. It was tested and deemed successful. ![]() ![]()

I saw that, just glad it was an easy fix!
I've got a lot of little stuff left to do. Daughter was messing with the sunroof and it stuck open. Looked into it tonight, going to have to pull headliner and sunroof to fix. Trans cooler lines, got to find silicone elbow for the intake. Have to figure out how to get the friggin EVAP solenoid off the top of the intake, then have to see if the hood fits. After that poly body bushings, leaf spring bushings, install the truetrac diff, get the front down, and debadge , wet sand, and buff.

Thanks man. I'm going to hit the ricer section of the parts store @ lunch to see if I can't find what I need local. I'm ready to get this done!
If you're on ebay, look up silverado intake. I picked up the cheap red one for $52 shipped. Looks like it will work, might have to put a hammer to it in spots when I finally get the hood on. ![]()
