Damn! I cannot wait to see the #s/ETs this thing puts down. Are they as heavy as the chargers? How many #s of boost do you folks plan on pushing? How many #s can the 6.1L stock bottom end handle?

Well, They are heavy cars at almost 4200 lbs. We are going to start with 7-8 lbs on the car, which should bump us up about 150 hp to around 515 at the wheels. Procharger is now using Diablosport for their tunes, so we will be using the base tune from Procharger. Plans are to increase the boost to 10 PSI once the car gets a few miles on it. Right now it only has 200 miles under Its belt. I will be going with a custom tune at that point. The motor is 10.3 to 1, so fairly high for boost, but with a good tune and Procharger's high efficiency intercooler, I think we will be fine. I have run 10 PSI on the 6 liter GTO's which are 10.1:1 with no issues. Just have to keep good gas in it and not get too greedy on the tune. The 6.1 liter bottom ends have forged steel cranks, and Pretty strong rods with floating wrist pins. So I think 10 lbs is doable safely, but I will not risk that on a generic tune, so for now, I'm sure he'll be happy for a little while on 7-8 lbs. Should be a beast though!!

I saw one of those yesterday. Yea, a black SRT8 Challenger- this one's twin. It was in a gas station parking lot facing hwy 64 way the hell out in Columbia. Guess they figured it would draw some people's eyes as they were driving out to the beach. Sure as hell caught mine- I filled up there and checked it out. Looks better in person than the pics.

FWIW, 12psi & 150 shot will make the rods into a pretzel...

Do you know any specifics about the tune? Specifically if there is any alteration to the tq. management feature..

haha I'm SURE!! I don't know a lot about the tune as that is what the hold up is on Procharger's end. They are still fine tuning it. If it is anything like the rest of them, the Tq management is backed down, but not turned off

This car didn't happen to get delivered to the owner about 2 days ago did it? If so I'm almost 100% positive I saw it on the hauler coming down 421 the other day. I've seen 5 in the last week. 1 black and 4 orange.
