Thanks man. I used the Quikrete Industrial kit. Don't get the garage floor coating they have in stock at lowes because It's water based. This stuff had to be ordered and is solvent based. Hopefully It'll hold up for a while

How difficult is that stuff to put down for someone like me who has no experience with flooring or construction?

Well, I did it and I haven't ever done any of this crap. It was very straight forward and even comes with an instructional DVD.

Thanks man. Most people didn't get to see the joys of working under a car on jackstands in the rain, but I guess everyone has to start somewhere!

Looks awesome! make sure you seal the floor or put something down we used a VERY similar kit down and after wear and tare over 2 years it's already coming up. Guess I get to strip the garage this summer..yaaay

What did you have to do to prep the NEW concrete. I know our garage floor was 10 years old when we did it and i gave it a nice bath of the acid etcher that came with my kit.

This stuff SHOULDN'T come up. It's supposed to be twice as strong as the consumer grade stuff but we'll see. I used the bond lok cleaner degreaser etcher on the concrete

I ordered it from www.hardwareworld.com 89.00 a piece ad I used 2.5 kits on a 23 X 30. supposed to be 250 sq ft per kit. The industrial coating is solvent based and all the other stuff is water based. Industrial is only available in gray
