LT1 head/cam package from Lloyd Elliot
I heard for a 1,100-1,500$ you could purchase a head/cam package from Lloyd Elliot and get 400+ N/A HP out of a stock car.
did a little research on camaroz28 and it seems the Lloyd elliot head and cam package is starting to be the way to go. just wondering if anyone had heard anything about his setups.

Not that I know much abotu the lt1 motors, but those sound like some damn impressive numbers for a relatively small price. I can be no help on whether or not they work well or not, though...

Lloyd's stuff is good, consistent stuff. He is also a great guy to deal with, from what I have heard, with good turnaround and prompt response to inquires. Most of the stuff I have seen from him has made between 360 and 390 rwhp. His name on CZ28 is "Nighttrain666" I think.
What kind of power are you looking to make? A large part of it depends on cam selection. That said, another head porter that is worth checking out is Phil at Advanced Induction . As far as reasonably priced LT1 stuff goes, his is probably the best money can buy at this point. Every car I have seen or heard of that is equipped with his ported heads and cam packages has made over 400rwhp with a hydraulic cam through an M6. A couple of people on this board (dobe, 1screaminZ) have or have had head work done by these guys. Hit them up and ask them. GreenbeanZ28 over on CFB also has a heads/cam package from Phil and made 423rwhp with a hydraulic cammed stock cube motor. All three cars (dobe, Greenbean, 1screaminZ) have trapped better than 117 mph in the 1/4 NA (Greenbean has been 119 and change I think). Phil is a longtime poster and a sponsor over at CZ28, pretty well known. His name on there is "Ai". I think he is running a group purchase on his top end packages right now as well. You cant really go wrong dealing with either of these porters. Both have stellar reputations over at CZ28. But...I am of the opinion that if you buy LT1 heads, buy the best ones you can the first time around so you aern't going back and getting new heads/more headwork when the time comes to build a stroker or new motor with the intention of getting more serious ![]() D.

I got Lloyds stuff Dan. Its awesome work. He by far has the best customer service possible. All of Lloyds stuff that makes between the 370-390rwhp is with small cams and mail order tuning. For the price thought is going to be a hard package to beat. As far as his heads and cam packages Joe Overton is grinding those cams and I would go with his LE3 setup(I think thats the one) the largest of the hydro. set ups.
