Sunday, August 15th, Downtown Wilmington, CFCC's Parking Lot #2.

This event is important because it's my first event in charge. I am the Event Chairman. This is practice for me being the Event Chair for all races starting in February of next year as I will be elected the Cape Fear Chapter Coordinator. This is big.

Some of you guys have been there, it's a fun little parking lot and if nothing else a great place to watch. I would love for you guys to sign up and race with me and be there to support my first event in charge. I want it to be a big success. That will only happen if we have lots of great participants. If you can't come race, at least come watch for a little while and if you want, talk to me beforehand or find me at the race and I'll get you in a car for a ride-along. I promise if you ride along, you WILL sign up for the next event. Just ask HotRodHyundai and 66impala.

If you have questions about what class to register your car just ask me or consult the SCCA Solo rulebook on the SCCA website.

I hope to see many of you guys out there. It's going to be a fun race day!

If only this wasn't a couple days after we get back from Maui, I would bring the S2000 down! I just can't be gone again that weekend. Good luck on the event.

Thanks! Definitely bring the s2k down for a better date. We should be having a race in September, our original venue was canceled so we're still hammering out the details. If not we'll be in Havelock in October and back in Wilmington in November. The schedule is on ncrscca.com.
