I only have pics of my kitchen that I recently redid myself. I've got a tiny lil' 1200 sf townhouse downtown. Don't really care tho since most of my time is spent in my 3600sf shop/garage/gym/man cave about 4 minutes away :). Sucky part is my shop rent is more than my mortgage lol.

Thanks man. I did the cabinet doors myself in curly maple with birch ply centers. Paid someone else to do the granite, did the backsplash myself...easier than I expected, all in all.

If you have euro/blum style hinges, refacing cabinets is easy. If you have face frame cabinets it's more of a PITA.

having no garage is the suck, but i love the house and the land/area.

the only exterior pics I have is from when we first moved in, about 2 years ago. Since then we now have grass (a little), done some landscaping, and built a larger deck on the side. Will get better pics tomorrow.

Sapphire brown/blue and venetian gold granite.... whats the sqft. price running up by you guys?

No idea...IIRC the total price including demo and new sink was around $2200, but then again my kitchen is tiny. I think everything including cabinets, counters, new disposal, lighting and backsplash was around $3500, but I did everything but the granite myself.

BTW, good thread. f Fun to see how other folks live. Not about being a balla...just different strokes for different folks! :)

I'm to lazy to do work for myself lol. All I have to say is appliques FTMFW!

I tried to buy a house, but even with 20% down, having no credit kills the loan. I'm looking for a few acres to purchase now to build a new shop and apartment.

Sapphire brown/blue and venetian gold granite.... whats the sqft. price running up by you guys?

I think most places around town are in the $50 to $60 / sq foot range.... Paid approximately $33 / sq foot installed.

(my entire kithchen installed, with new sink, backsplash, removal was $2,400)

Like I said, if anyone is interested I can supply the hook up.

If anyone want a study or baby's room done I can get you great pricing on that too. My father in law does custom cabinets as well as furniture. The cradle in the pictures was built by him and myself. Alot of man hours to get that thing right and it is heavy as hell. The things we do to please a pregnant wife. hahahahahaha

This is my baby house... It does suck not having a garage. Im only 22 and hope in the next few years I can resale and get slightly bigger place with a garage.

I feel ya. The garage that was on mine was closed in before I bought it. I have WAY too much crap now and not enough room. But I'm in your boat, I bought this place last year when I was 23, and I already need a much bigger place.

Hopefully in a few years I can move up to baller status like some of you guys. Yall have some nice ass places.

Still have to paint the front of the porch. I bought a new pressure washer and drank WAY too much and "accidentaly" wrote my name in the deck....:fail:

Grass came in great this year.

Covered deck is nice this time of year.

Heres a few of my house. This is my first home I bought. We moved in February of this year. Still needs some things but not to bad for my first time purchase.

Right after we moved in. Grass is still kinda dead in these pics from the cold.

One of me in the living room.

My office, also known as the Monster Room. Lime green walls and Monster Energy stuff, not all of it was up at that time. All the wall outlets were custom pinstripped by my brother, also on here as Ellispinstripping. Here are a few, not all of them shown here.

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i241/KippSRT4/DSC00361.jpg

And a typical weekend out my house now. All family's cars. My Gt, My brothers Cobra, My dads Monte Carlo and my Fiances 05 Mustang.

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i241/KippSRT4/DSC00403.jpg

Hope you guys like it. I have a building out back. But dont have any pics of it yet. But I will soon start building my dream garage out back with a lift and a bunch of other goodies.

You know how many times I've heard this shit?!!! :) You don't keep a car around long enough to spank nothin my friend, lol.

We were in the neighborhood (literally) this past weekend and stopped in to see you and the "stamped concrete" patio but you weren't around. We did peek around back though. While what you've got looks nice we were thinking more along the lines of actual stampings/designs in the concrete and stained/colored. Maybe your guy does that too but I have to assume then the cost probably doubles. I think I'm probably just going to expand the deck for now and we'll think about a patio later.

OK, back on topic.

I'm probably older than most here so it took awhile especially after going through a couple of divorces for things to come together.

Having said this...I work for a large bank and have for 20 + years. Being in the financial industry "ain't" quite what it used to be as you see/hear in the news.

I'm not actually a banker...I'm in Executive Protection and work for some high rollers. My wife is a banker and does fairly well.

I also have NO kids.

My wife drives the SRT and other than the name NEON...she likes it. Well it helps being paid for. There are a few cars on her list but not having a car payment helps keep that list in check.

Me either...or the Z to be honest. I've never had vehicles this long. I guess interest in the bikes plus the screwed up economy since we both work for a bank has played a big part in that. Not having a car payment seems to mean more than it used to.

The stamping will take place in June or July. Gotta get the freaking barn up and a few other things done to the house. Also get my car out of the garage so I can put my Teal Cobra in there.... I may be out to check out the new Crib and bring a few beers.
