Im glad thats over I hate going for permits, on a side note I blew the bullseye out of the target! The instructor said "Damn thats some good shooting" and I used his gun! 21 bullseyes and 4 on the rim, I tried to shoot too fast towards the end.

Where did you take the class? Spencer (Nice 5.0) also was taking a similiar class today.

+ 1 and how do i find out who/where these are offered? any website or places to call? I am in forsyth county.
how much did it cost, and how long it take?

I did the class about two weeks ago but haven't applied for my permit yet. I think it's $90 for the permit. I've heard I need to have a passport photo with me. Anyone know if that's true?

Only thing I needed were my DL and the paper from the CCW class.

No passport photo needed as the license lacks a picture.

Took me 6.5 hrs but I was the first one finished, $60 for the class

Congrats!
I blew half my target off in my first round of testing..... test was very easy and if you have ever shot a gun before you won't have any issues passing the test.
After learning all the rules, made me very nervous about ever using my gun in self defense....if that makes any sense.

I want to get one but when the big O takes charge of the white house in a couple days, he's gonna do away with all of that anyway !!! Awesome shooting though man. Couldnt shoot that good on my best day.:bowdown:
