Randy is supposedly gonna fight Brock Lesnar in November to basically fufill his contract with the UFC. But honestly.... I have no idea how this fight makes ANY sense on either one of their sides. But if it does happen... at least it should draw some big numbers to watch it. I know I will.
Discuss.

Holy shit, you have a link to this stuff robbie?
Damn right Ill be watching that one. I hope brock destroys him because regardless of his antics I am behind that guy 100%.
I also like randy, but its brocks time IMO. I think it has huge potential. I think Brock will throw him around. Randy will have to catch him in a submission, and I dont think itll happen.
Randy better not lose, if he does fighting fedor wont mean shit to the rest of the MMA world. Itll be between Fedor and Brock for whos the best then IMO.
FUCK YEAH this has me excited...

i know bobby lashley is training for mma, that dude is a frikin beast and im pretty sure he can hold his own. i wouldnt mind seeing him make the jump. lashley has been out of the wwe for over a year now. another rumor floating around is kurt angle for tna wrestling wanting to make the jump also.

Bobby Lashley has signed with American Fight League (not IFL) or something like that. I believe his first fight is in Nov or Dec.
Kurt Angle has discussed going MMA. However he decided against it for 2 reasons. 1, he aggrees that he's too old and his neck still has issues. 2, he wanted too much money and no organization was willing to pay it. In fact, Dana White even slammed Kurt in an interview saying something about he wouldnt last.
Dom... its on mmajunkie.com
Supposedly also, Randy vs Fedor is in the works with .... get this... POSSIBLY UFC and Affliction working together!! GASP!!!

The one thing about brock is that he fights good mma guys. They dont pair him up with bullshit fighters. That is a big plus in my book.

Only thing that makes since is Dana must think he can take Randy... That way Couture's value will go way down after his contract is over! Should be interesting!

I love Brock, almost as much as I love Randy, lol... Brock can't finish a fight "YET," and that will be his downfall against randy. He will dominate the fight, be leading on all cards till about the third or forth, and then Randy will catch him w/ a submission.
As much money as this fight would bring, I don't think it will happen. For one, Randy left as Champ and if he returns, he should automatically face the interim champ (Nog). Don't see how Brock can fight the returning champ??
Brock's gonna fight Kongo next and that in itself is gonna be a good fight. Kongo standing and Brock taking it to the ground. Great match-up really.
Randy and Fedor need to get that shit straightened out and fight damn't. Hopefully Dana will wake up and see how much money this fight will bring in. I want this to happen more than anything, followed by Wandy/Chuck II and Page/Forrest II;) Penn/GSP is gonna be a banger, but GSP is gonna sadden the world and whoop that ass:nod:

it pretty much sums it up that Randy is only coming back to fullfill is contract. But as someone mentioned, Dana sees it as a opportunity to let him face a big name that in his mind, can beat Randy, and thus dropping his value.
From what I gather on reading, if Randy agrees to fight Brock, the Kongo/Lesnar fight is scratched. (obviously as this fight will be a bigger draw. I believe its tennitively set for Nov 11th.)

I agree... I think when it comes to potential, Brock has more than 100% of active UFC fighters. I just hope he jumps ship to Affliction.

Affliction ='s fail. Yes, they have the best heavy weight fighters, but their show's and fighting in a ring where the ref has to constantly stop the action is nowhere near as nice as fighting in the caged octagon, w/ no bands and all of the side-show drama...

Exactly my point, Glad I'm not the only one that hates that shit. i wanna see fight after fight. And if there's time left over at the end, show me the fights that happened earlier:nod: That's one thing that the UFC has right!! That and the cage of course. Cage pwnts ring in all aspects of mma. I hate ref interference!!!!

I would assume that if Randy is just coming back to fullfill his contract, he would be willing to give up his belt just so he wouldn't be bound by that "champion's clause" in his contract. If he came back as champ to fight Nog and won, the UFC could extend his contract. If he gives up the belt and comes back to fight Brock and wins, he can finish his contract out without having an automatic extension. Also, keep in mind that the only reason the UFC hasn't stripped him of the belt for being innactive for so long was for legal reasons.
I thought he had 2 fights left on his contract though, I wonder if the 4th fight is intended to be the rumored Randy vs Fedor fight.

So what do people want? A good technical fight or "shock and awe" matchups? Personally I prefer quality over quantity. It's like all anyone cares about is some muscle bound freak and some ex-con battling it out with x,y, and z.
