When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ball-point pens would not work in zero gravity.
To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 300° C.
The Russians used a pencil.
Enjoy your taxes.

you can get the zero gravity fed pens like anywhere now-a-days. Kinda like how expensive the first laser pointer was and now you can get them in your mouse's and keychains on the cheap for work presentations.

I have a black bullet and it is honestly the best writing pen i have ever had.
It takes 100 years to dry out just sitting out.
