Nevermind the weekend was w/ my favorite cousin and we just had a ball.

Nevermind going to a stop at one of the greatest hip-hop concert tours of my era (Jay Z and Mary J.)...

Nevermind the stupid HOT girls that were also at our hotel (possibly in town for the concert or an America's Next Top Model tryout or something that no one knew about).

And I'm not gonna discuss the girls that were actually at the show surrounding me and my cousin that were 10's on a scale of 1 - 9.99...

We stayed at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro this weekend and this place was THE nicest all around hotel that I've visited in our state of NC. Plasma's in the rooms, great staff and at 9:00am there were probably 20 people out on the driving and putting ranges just enjoying themselves on a cool Sunday morning... To be so close the highway, when you looked out your room's it seemed as if you were in the mountains w/ nothing but beautiful golf courses outside of your window.

If you need a place to stay in Greensboro w/ the lady or just hanging out for the weekend, 8 minutes away from Four Season's Mall or the Coliseum for an ACC tourney game or something; Check out the http://www.grandoverresort.com/index.asp . I was actually VERY impressed...

I hear the massages at the Spa are AWESOME, but in our action packed weekend I never got a chance to get one. My cousin almost talked me into getting a facial, but I'm just not that "pretty" of a man, lolz.

If one play's golf, this place looked like heaven early this past sunday morning. As for the girls that were staying there the same night; I'll just say that they were Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y:nod:

ps - When I told my sister about it the only thing she could recall was when she stayed in Greensboro the president stayed there. Given who that was, I didn't hold that against them, lol...

That's good to know. I see it all the time going b/t Raleigh and Charlotte. The old lady mentioned she wouldn't mind checking it out, but I couldn't fathom the idea of taking a "vacation" in G'boro.

Naw, Unless you're a golfer; I wouldn't say it's a "vacation" spot. More like the perfect "Get Away" spot... We left, got to Four Season's Mall real quick like, shopped our hearts away like teenage school girls w/ daddy's money (my cousin spends more on clothes than most of us on car payments and mods) and then shot back to the hotel to relax before checking out the Jay Z show. Saw different high-classed hookers each time we walked through the door (no, not real hookers people).

Yeah 200 for one night, not likely I will ever stay there. I payed 200 for 6 days in Panama City Beach for spring break and got free hot breakfast and free beer every night from 7-9pm at the bar next door....

And the hotel wasn't bad at all!!!

10-4. How was the concert? I saw where that was Jay Z's first appearance after getting hitched with Beyonce.

We have a spring meeting there every year. Always first class accomodations.

The Peabody in Orlando is another great one.

Best concert ever...

Jay Z went threw a catalogue of music that proved that he is the greatest rapper alive; It was kinda hard to question that when the guy went through music that spans over the last 12 years and 20,000 people knew every word to every song. He could stop in the middle of a line at any given point and the crowd just kept it going w/o skipping a beat.

Imagine 20,000 people in a night club, EVERYONE hype and EVERYONE dancing and Jay Z on stage. Helluva night for sure.
