Can anyone tell me who has the best selection on imported beers in the Raleigh area? I'm getting sick of drinking the same ole crap everyday and can't find a place that has a good beer selection.

Total Wine has a decent selection. There is one in crossroads and one on capital blvd near the best buy.

flying saucer, Hi5, Peace Street market or whatever it is called there at Peace Street and St. Marys. Total wine is good too...they have German beers there.

You shouldn't be drinking every day.

I'm looking for a store that has a good selection. I've been to Flying Saucer quite a few times and that place does have the best beer selection. I was just checking to see if anybody knew of a good store that they get their beer from.

like was said...Peace Street Market (or whatever it is called) or Total Wine. Besides that, call whichever beer company, get the distributor for this area and then call them to see who they deliver to. I have done that a few times and there may be a few areas that they can tell you that no one here has mentioned. Leg work is what you will have to do.

I'm pretty sure it's at fox rd.? It's kind of down from 401 (level wise), but they have coolers that wrap around the whole store with a selection similar to the peace street market.

yeah...there too
and duh...that made me remember World Market...there is one by the famed Old Navy there at Triangle Town Center. They have german hefe's and dunkel's, english pales, and so forth there...they even sell by the bottle if you want to pick up a few different types to try out. Ayinger Dunkel is one of my favorites :) (you can get that at Hi5 for really expensive or go to World Market or Total Wine and get it. Me and a buddy bought a case of it from Total Wine a long time ago).

TTT...I thought id bring this back up because I stopped at the Exxon at Fox road and 401 right north of 540. There is a SHITLOAD of beers in there...i found Abita Golden (their lager) which im drinking right now. Check it out...they had English beers there and I even saw Tecate in the bottle.

The Harris Teeter on Kildaire Farm has a shit-ton of beer too, and you can usually get some random brand for pretty cheap.
