Before I start, if you are guilty of any of the following actions. Even though I will ridicule you without mercy annonymously in this thread. Take comfort in the fact that nothing I am about to mention is an act commited by only one person, but rather many MANY people. So much so its downright scary....
First... Those who receive the automated alert e-mail that you have received a new Private Message. You may notice that in CAPITAL LETTERS at the very top it says DO NOT REPLY TO THIS E-MAIL! It's not just a suggestion folks. It really means DO NOT REPLY TO THE FUCKING E-MAIL!!!! You must log in and send them a PM through the PM feature on the site. Why you may ask? The person who you want to read it will not read it. The e-mail actualy gets bounced to the sites main e-mail account and I am damn sure not gonna see to it that it gets to the proper recepiant. Heres me "oh look, PoleSmoker95 replied to the automated PM notification e-mail. Wow, he shouldn't have done that. This looks like an important message.... DELETE!!!"
Next... To our newer members. Please do not PM me or e-mail me asking for us to make an exception to our classified rule just for you. Im thrilled that your offering a great deal on your 1982 Camaro Berlinetta and would like to post it in Classifieds. But if we made an exception to everybody who wanted one, it would defeat the whole purpose of having the rule. To those wanting us to make an exception for them so they can post in a thread to contact a seller. SEND THEM A DAMN PM!!!!! This also goes for people e-mailing the site saying they want to contact someone, leaving their phone numbers and other contact info, and expecting me to pass the message on.... yeah, I'll get right on that...... DELETE!
Moving on... The sites Contact page has an option for "Advertising Info". This is for potential HPJ sponsors. It does not mean you type out the information on the item you are wanting to sell and send it to me... cuz I really dont give a shit!
To FUTURE members. When you register, a notification comes on the screen that you will need to click the link in a confirmation e-mail before you will be allowed to post! You can obviously read well enough to send me an e-mail saying you cant post. Where were these skills when the big bold lettered message was on the screen giving instructions!
