this is a continuation of that thread. pretty much my black ink wasnt working at all, so i open up my printer and find that one of the ink tubes came off one end (the red arrow) due to a clog, so i rerouted it and cut off like half of the tubing and cleaned it all out so there was no clogs. however, i still am getting blank pages! the way i routed the tubing it doesnt go where that yellow circle is anymore, it goes the green path. is this why its not working? anybody have any ideas? (the blue dot is where the other end of the tube is (under that black thing).

yeah thats where the money is, they'll practically give you a printer so you'll buy the replaceables, FYI unless your diggin through those cart's like once a month, They dry out just like anything with ink in em, An a lot quicker than you'd think :)

I know someone who can fix it beyond a doubt and wont charge too much but he will probably say what everyone is saying and that is THROW IT AWAY AND GET ANOTHER ONE.
thanks for the office space memory...i got an Initech mug that I drank coffee from this morning. It says "Is this good for the company?" on the side of it....LMAO

tanks arent the problem.
I read that part. Considering your stash of ink tanks (thus wanting to fix the printer), I was merely offering a replacement in great condition that is sitting here collecting dust.

Dude, it looks like your printer threw up.
Geesh, what a mess. I take for granted that you have tried more than one ink cartridge since the line cleaning/re-routing. In the event you haven't, do so. It's real easy to burn the heads up when no ink is flowing.
Other than that man, I'd do like everyone else says and pick up another if possible. Someone always has a sale or special going on (Best Buy, Circuit City........Wal-Mart...).
I'd sell the combo you have on ebay "as is" and give a description about it being broken. I'd also sell the ink cartridges on ebay in bulk or in pairs to try and recover some of your cost.
