This is the weaksauce. Apparently its getting replaced by....holy smokes you guessed it...more housing developments and maybe more shopping. I dont know what the city planners are doing but they must be asleep at the wheel. If Capital Bvd gets anymore crowded it will be gridlock. Like we need any more feakin' Starbucks and Harris Teeters around. This area, if it had any character to begin with, will be completely replaced by commercial shopping centers and yuppies. I used to really like it here but as more time goes by its turning into neighborhoods that all look alike.

i loved that golf course, but it is in a horrible spot to get to for a lot of people and this market is way over crowded for golf courses....

...that's the first course I played when I moved down here 9 years ago... not like we can't live without a little more development :idunno: .

That course was built in the 1920's. It's nothing super spectacular but it was a nice course. Very hilly and fun to play. MF'ing developers.
