The sores come from scratching. The meth actually crystalizes under the skin causing the itching. I watched some shit on it on like TLC or something like that. The lead singer from the band Days of the New was on it and he's hooked. Its pretty sad.

The soars are from "picking". It almost like a nervous tick when you wired on meth. Folks are always picking at there skin until it bleeds. I grew up in SE Missouri, a hotbed for meth production and use. To many old friends and family member have ruined there lives because of this shit. I've never been around crack or other hardcore drugs, but I don't see how it could be any worse.

Its called TWEAKING meth and crack users pick at their face contantly over a nervous habbit and like the other guy said it takes longer to heal and they keep picking the same scab over and over!! those people have life issues and are addicts for life no matter if they get help! If you do crack for over a week you have a 8% yes 8% chance of getting off and never using again meth is worse than that so like the other guy said stay away!!!!
