Holcomb is sponsoring the Fast Fords In The Fall at the Rock,it's on the 24th of September. I know a lot of you guys and girls don't care much about racing, but wouldn't mind the cruise to Rockingham and just looking at all the cars.
If anybody is interested in going, give a shout.

I would doubt that you would be able to, but I am not certain. I am sure someone will chime in and know for sure.

yes, you are able to change your tires and mess with the nitrous bottle only. You cant pop the hood for anything. I will also be running True Street. What is everybody aiming for? I am going to run the 11.0 class. taylor- which section you running? Looking forward to do this. cant wait for the 24th....ought to be a blast. Looking forward to meeting a few new people.

I'm trying to round up some ppl from the Wilmington area so we can cruise up there in the morning. I was thinking that we would leave around 8 :idunno:
But that's just a guess, since I don't know what time they are going to start the cruise for the True Street class. That would be cool to add more ppl to the ride up :)

why would u need to change your tires??? It is true street which means u must run radials. why not make the so called "10 mile cruise" on the same tires u race with??? u cant change radials to drag slicks, no. ...

I didn't realize that you had to run radials :(
I was planning on racing on my E.T Streets...One is kinda skint, so I was hoping to do the cruise on my Kuhmo's and swap over to me E.T Streets to race.

I think you can run your ET Streets and I don't think you can change tires. Its only 10 miles.
Here is the FFW and NMRA rule book. Both say you can run DOT Approved Slicks or Radials and tire changes are a no go.

They may have their own rules they use though.

ET Streets are a Bias Ply...street slicks
ET Street RADIALS are drag radials.
Two completely different tires....both are DOT Approved though and legal in True/Wild Street.

lol ... okay whatever. Everyone I have ever bought them from and everyone i have seen run them called the "drag radials" .... I know MT has the new tires that are actually called DRAG RADIALS, but thats what we have always referred to the ET Streets as. .... They are a drag racing tire, and they are street legal, thus the term drag radial ... anyway, it doesnt matter. they work good for drag racing and they are street legal so u get the point.

Last time we did a cruise, we met up at the Kmart parking lot in Wilmington, and that seemed to work as it's a central location. I'm guessing that we would meet up at 8:00 to do the cruise as it takes about 1 1/2 hours to get there.
