We are about to start a new project on a 2004 Cobra Mustang. Our goal is to make a 1000 Plus Horsepwer to the rear wheels. The last time we made 841 horsepower to rear wheels on 93 octane. Stay tune for the new build.

Is the goal also to stay with 93 octane?

I am sure that we can make a 1000 horsepower on 93 octane, but it would not be very safe at that horepower level. We are going to stay with 4.6 Modular base engine.

With the new GT500 coming with a 5.8, it would be cool to see a 04 Cobra with a 5.8 in it. :)

We wouldn't mind going with a 5.8 block, but we can't get our hands on one. So, we are going with a big bore 4.6. We might put the 5.8 in the race car when the block be come available.
