tell me that performance didn't get all those vettes. i imagine the rest of them are enroute to other dealerships in the area.

i wouldn't buy one until next year to make sure all the bugs are worked out. GM has already dropped the ball a few times on the c6 so far. here are the examples

1) month delay of cars leaving the factory. apparent wind noise and water leak
problem which they should have worked out by now
2) lemans blue paint is on constraint
3) convertibles are on constraint, probably wont' see them until the fall
4) just released a few days ago, the dual roof option can't be ordered. you
will have to wait to get one with a optional transparent top. you will get the
standard painted roof right now

Pre-delivery inspection, they do it to the cars before they go on the lot so they can make sure there are no immediate problems, just a rural inspection.

PDI= Pre Delivery Inspection (or is it post...it's been almost 3 years since I worked at a dealership, so I cant remember :) )The test drive/checking over/ etc... done by the dealership when new cars come in.

Yeah, it's pre, not post. Not sure how it works for Chevy but at Dodge you have to test drive every vehicle for a certain amount of miles....darn. :)
